What: The annual Cajun French Music Association (CFMA) "Le Cajun" festival awards the "Prix DeHors de Nous" to recordings of Cajun bands who reside outside of the local “Cajun Region”, i.e., South Louisiana and Southeast Texas. We are pleased and honored to have been awarded the second runner up prize for 2012!

Square Roots Festival "Fiddle Club of the World: Battle of the Bands"
What: Three fiddle-driven bands representing old-time, Mexican Son, and Cajun music compete to get the most people on the dance floor. Dorian and Stewart of the Cajun Vagabonds joined Heather Cole-Mullen (Bucktown Aces) and Charlie Terr (Chicago Cajun Aces) to represent Cajun. All three participating bands had everyone up dancing and a three-way tie for first place was declared.
